Sgt. Kevin Jones of the Special Services Division handles many community related functions including tours of the department headquarters, providing holiday safety and crime prevention tips, and administering our community involvement programs such as the Citizen's Police Academy and the Citizen Observer Program.

Sergeant Jones can also arrange instruction to your community, civic, church, neighborhood or business group on topics such as Workplace Violence, Starting a Neighborhood Watch Program, Crime Prevention, Child I.D. Programs, and Protection Against Identity Theft. Officers are also available to speak to your group about Bicycle Safety, Crimes Against the Elderly, and the Dangers of Drunk Driving.

Sgt. Jones or another representative of the Brunswick Police Department can also come to your home or business to conduct an in-depth Security Survey if you request. A survey is not expected to solve all of your security issues, but we can assist you in developing a security program that is mutually beneficial to you, your business and it's employees and customers, and the Brunswick Police Department. Each home or business will have needs for individualized protections. It is the intention of the Brunswick Police Department to provide you with the knowledge and advice to make your home, property or business as safe and secure as possible.
